Finding and evaluating grant opportunities

The Grant Database

Grant Assistant includes 300+ grant opportunities from foundations and federal programs. Each grant includes eligibility requirements, funding amounts, deadlines, and application information.

Searching and Filtering

Use the filters at the top of the Browse Grants page:

Keyword Search

Search grant titles, funders, and eligibility text.

Minimum Funding

Filter to grants that offer at least a certain amount.

Deadline Range

Show grants due within a certain number of days.

Grant Type

Filter by Federal, Private Foundation, or Rolling deadlines.

Quick Filters

Click the chips below the search to quickly filter:

  • Starred: Grants you've marked as favorites
  • AI Analyzed: Grants that have been enriched with AI analysis
  • Hide Rejected: Remove grants you've marked as not relevant

Grant Cards

Each grant card shows:

Score Match score based on your organization's focus areas (higher is better)
Title Grant program name
Funder Organization offering the grant
Funding Award amount or range
Deadline Application due date (or "Rolling" if ongoing)
Badges Federal vs. Private, Rolling deadline

Star and Reject

As you browse, use the star and reject buttons to organize grants:

  • Star: Mark grants that look promising for later review
  • Reject: Hide grants that aren't relevant to your organization

These actions are quick ways to curate the database before doing deeper analysis.

Adding Grants to Projects

When you find a promising grant, click on it to view details. From the grant page, you can add it to one of your projects to start tracking it in your pipeline.
